1 Day Water Fitness Course
We currently offer a one day aqua course for instructors who are already level 2 qualified in either gym, ETM or a swimming teaching qualification.
The course consists of both practical and theoretical work. The practical part of the course consists of both shallow and deep water workouts; all candidates will have teaching practice time and a practical teaching assessment.
The theoretical part of the course will be mainly classroom work. The classroom work is very interactive and informative with full coverage on water properties, exercises, session plans and styles to list a few.
At the end of the day there is a multiple choice examination that all candidates will have to sit and pass to attain their Water Fitness teaching qualification.
Before the course, candidates will have to read and fill in the questions in the course manual, which will help their understanding of the course content.
2 Day Hydro Spin Course
The pre-requisites for the Hydro Spin course are that the candidate must have already obtained an aqua qualification. The course will teach candidates how to set bikes into a pool safely and effectively. They will also learn the different riding techniques and exercise positions that can be done on the HYDRORIDER aqua bikes. These are just a few elements of the practical learning done on the course. There will be a practical assessment during the second day of the course that all candidates must pass.
The theoretical part of the course will teach candidates:
- How to utilize properties of water
- How the properties affect a Hydro spin class
- How to change the adjustable settings of an aquabike, class styles and session design, plus much more.
At the end of the two days the candidates will have to sit a theory examination which they will have to pass to obtain their Hydro Spin qualification.
All candidates will have to complete the course manual before attending the Hydro Spin course. As this will allow them to already have obtained some knowledge on what they will be learning during 2 day course.
Candidates are required to bring a copy of their relevant qualifications on the day of the course with a fully completed manual.
